Oh love is in the air! If I was a strong believer in Valentine's Day that'd be nice, but I'm not. Nevertheless, I still did my very best to make sure our first Valentine's together was special. Lucky for me I'm working this Saturday (no three day weekend for me, but thus is life) so I got off work early and was able to pull together some ingredients and make a wonderful dinner.
Pork chops rubbed in a spice rub that came out of my head, which can be a scary thing at time, mashed potatoes and country gravy, broccoli for Josh and an artichoke or me! Maybe someday Josh will come around to the goodness that is artichoke... we can only hope though.
